VILLA AARON

ABOUT THE VILLA

So close to the Kasbah and Jemaa el-Fna, yet a world apart. Villa Aaron is a restaurant set in an old family home that has kept its calm, its character, and a few stories of its own. An elegant place to slow down, right in the middle of Marrakech. The Villa has kept the character of the house it once was: elegant, comfortable, and made for taking your time.

Villa Aaron is the kind of restaurant worth going out of your way for, as much for the food as for the setting. It sits in a busy part of the city but has its own private parking for guests, which is rare in Marrakech and makes getting here easy.

Step inside and the noise of the street drops away. The villa still has its original rooms and layout, with mosaics, greenery and soft music in the background. The kitchen cooks with the seasons, generous and without fuss. It's a place to eat well, talk, and take a break from the city.

The place changes as the day goes on. At midday it's bright and quiet, the kind of lunch where you stay longer than you meant to. In the evening the lights come down, the music comes up, and it gets livelier.

Some evenings there's live music: a double bass, a singer, or a DJ. The welcome is warm and the service pays attention. There's plenty going on without it ever feeling loud.

You come in like you're visiting friends, and you leave already thinking about when you'll be back.

ATMOSPHERE

At Villa Aaron, there’s a rare kind of charm... The kind that welcomes you with the ease and warmth of home.

Interior designer Michèle-Rose shaped each space with thoughtful care, drawing inspiration from the house’s original character to reveal its quiet beauty. In doing so, she paid homage to the Amzallagh family, the villa’s former owners. Vintage tiles, hand-picked furniture, and carefully chosen tableware all contribute to an atmosphere that feels both warm and familiar.

The space carries the spirit of clinking glasses, shared memories, and lingering, simple pleasures. It holds the energy of joyful homes, where conversations flow and time gently stretches.
Everything here unfolds with grace. The story continues, shaped by all who pass through.

Our Kitchen

At Villa Aaron the food comes from family cooking: Sunday lunches, the kind of dishes you grew up with. Chef Luisma Naranjo builds on that with a mix of Mediterranean and Moroccan flavors, and cooks it with real care.

The menu changes with the seasons and is made to share. Think slow-cooked mechoui cannelloni, ravioli with chakchouka, or lightly spiced pastrami.

The bar is the center of the house. It's where people gather over a signature cocktail, a good glass of wine, or just to sit with friends. The mood is warm and easy, as good for a long talk as for a quick drink. Every cocktail is made properly, some our own creations, some classics done our way.

The bar isn't just somewhere you wait for a table. It's part of the evening.

THE VILLA

Villa Aaron has something of an old family home about it. You feel it in the quiet conversations, the small thoughtful touches, the sense that there's no reason to rush. Not much has been changed over the years, and that's exactly the charm. Step inside and it still feels like the house it once was, warm and lived-in, with its own stories in the walls.

The kitchen and the bar carry that same spirit. The food is built on family recipes, generous and made to share; the cocktails are mixed with care and a touch of invention. Sit down at the table or pull up a stool at the bar, and the evening tends to unfold on its own, one dish, one drink, one conversation at a time.

Make it yours for the day (or night)

REVIEWS

"A must visit restaurant for those travellers staying in Marrakesh just incredible"

“Amazing restaurant with a very cool vibe and extraordinary decor. Staff were very welcoming and attentive and the 3 piece jazz musicians were playing great music enhancing the experience so much. Food was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Marrakesh i would highly recommend this restaurant. Alcohol is served here and there were a number of guests also sat at the very gorgeous cocktail bar having drinks aside from the many having dinner. This place is a WOW for anyone visiting Marrakesh”

"the whole package"

“There are some restaurants which receive a lot of attention for their aesthetics but delivers little else. Villa Aaron has the whole package, in my view. The atmosphere is serene, beautiful and very definitely aesthetically pleasing. The menu doesn’t provide a vast choice, but the choice is an interesting range and having been a couple of times, always good. The staff are very attentive and friendly. A very enjoyable time indeed! I surprised them with what I described my dog to be medium sized and they perceived to be big; they diplomatically accommodated us at a central yet convenient spot :) oh, premiered a live band who were setting up and started session shortly before we left and they were great. I totally recommend a visit and will be returning !”

"The star DJ"

“We stumbled across this bar by accident. What a great place , quality drinks and service but the star of the show was the DJ and the music he played (24th April ) everyone a classic , he made the ambience that made the night”

"THE NICEST STAFF SERVING THE BEST FOOD"

“Slightly stumbled across this gem of a restaurant by chance but was so glad I did. Probably the best meal I had during my few days here in Marrakech.

Great service, absolutely delicious food and the most beautiful oasis of calm in the midst of all the chaos.”
